Every story starts with a person.

Sometimes it’s someone I meet while out living life. Sometimes it’s a brief conversation. Sometimes it’s nothing more than a smile, a laugh, or the way someone sees the world.

Those moments become the seeds of stories.

Many of my main characters are inspired by real people. When I can, I ask their permission to use their name and likeness, and I always ask one more question:

“If you could live inside any story, what genre would you choose?”

Their answer becomes the adventure.

The rest… well, that’s where imagination takes over.
